I paint light—on water, through trees, across the human form.

My work is created using traditional oils on linen or cotton canvas, with classical brush techniques.

I work without the use of digital or mechanical processes, allowing the painting to develop entirely by hand.

The process is unhurried.
Each work is given the time required to fully realize the image as it is seen.

After more than seventy years of painting, I am happy to once again share my work with collectors who love light and traditional craft.

My paintings are created slowly and carefully in oil on canvas — the same way I have worked since I was a boy in Stratford, Ontario.

Many of the pieces you see here continue the quality and feeling of the paintings that were collected so enthusiastically in California during the 1980s and 1990s.

I invite you to browse the Selected Works, read more of my story on the About page, or simply enjoy the quiet beauty of light moving across water, trees, and the human form.

Thank you for visiting.
